Blindspot Season 4: The series canceled without a real end?

No end for Blindspot?

Will Blindspot Season 4, currently airing in the US, be the last? Worse, can the series have no real end? These are the two questions many fans are asking now. The reason ? NBC, the channel that broadcasts the series at our American neighbors, has just made a surprising decision.

While there were still 3 episodes to discover, NBC simply chose to deprogram the series. Initially aired on Friday night, Blindspot is indeed now replaced by Blacklist, while it is the TV magazine Dateline that completes the grid of the late evening, leaving him no longer any place on the air.

The series in danger

And if the renewal of the series for a season 5 seems today compromised, it is for three reasons. First, as Allociné reminds us, Blindspot's audiences are so catastrophic that it is one of the least watched fictions on NBC. Secondly, the channel has still not communicated on the possible future programming of the final episodes of season 4. In other words, the series is clearly no longer one of its priorities and the broadcast of its end is not his problem.

Finally, third, as is the case for many other Marvel heroes, a series centered on Lady Sif, character of Jaimie Alexander in Thor, would be under study for Disney +. Therefore, with this new major project, the lead actress may not have time to shoot in Blindspot ...
